University of Agricultural and Environmental Education
The research projects of the University of Agricultural and Environmental Education (HAUP) combine subject matter from the agricultural and environmental fields with pedagogy and advisory work, with a focus on preparing the findings for agricultural education and consulting.
The research activities at HAUP focus on linking theory and practice. The goal is to anchor research findings directly in agricultural and forestry education, continuing education, and advisory services. Development projects aim to promote and inspire new and innovative ideas. In doing so, HAUP makes an important contribution to knowledge transfer in the still relatively young discipline of agricultural and environmental education research.
The research projects are embedded in the fields of Green Pedagogy, Advisory Services and Adult Education, Business Management, “Subject Didactics in Agriculture and Environment,” as well as Green Care. Digitalization is also an important area of focus.
