Submission of Austrian dossiers

Authorization
The Austrian Chemicals Act stipulates that Austria submits at least two dossiers per year for substances of very high concern to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) in accordance with Article 59 of the REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006. Austria is meeting this target – partly in cooperation with other Member States.
Classification of substances
Austria has so far submitted several dossiers for the harmonized classification of plant protection product active substances and biocides to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) in accordance with Article 37 of the CLP Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
