Radiation protection
Humans are exposed to natural radiation – from space and from radioactive substances in soil and rock. Since the 20th century, radiation from humankind has been added. Its use requires strict regulations: its use must be justified, and the dose must be kept as low as possible to avoid harm to humans and the environment.

Radon Center
Radon is a radioactive noble gas and occurs in varying concentrations in all soils. Radon can penetrate buildings from the ground. If it accumulates in closed rooms, high concentrations of radon can develop there, which can cause lung cancer in the occupants.
