Air and noise

The aim of sustainable national air pollution control is to protect human health, animals, plants and their habitats, while reducing pollutant exposure. Limit, alert and target values are set for this purpose. Noise also affects the environment and human health, which is why measures to reduce noise pollution are being implemented across Europe.
