The digital platform “Education2030” is a joint project by BAOBAB, Forum Umweltbildung, KommEnt, Südwind, and Welthaus Graz. The implementation of the “Education2030” platform is funded by Austrian Development Cooperation and the Ministry of the Environment.

Together, the platform aims to support learners and educators in engaging with sustainable and globally just development in line with the 2030 Agenda. In doing so, it contributes to critical and future-oriented education.

The digital platform “Education2030” is aimed at all teachers, early childhood educators, university and college instructors, as well as multipliers in non-formal education and adult education.

The platform consolidates information on the topics of the 2030 Agenda. The offerings are guided by specially developed quality criteria.

Furthermore, the platform presents the educational concepts of Global Learning / Global Citizenship Education and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), which make a significant contribution to achieving Goal 4 of the 2030 Agenda, “Quality Education.” Target 4.7 states that by 2030, all learners should acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to promote sustainable development, including through education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship, and appreciation of cultural diversity and the contribution of culture to sustainable development.
