This regulation on the prevention and recycling of packaging waste and certain product residues stipulates that packaging must participate in an approved collection and recycling system.

Returned packaging must either be reused or recycled. Section 4, Paragraph 2 of the Packaging Ordinance prohibits the placing on the market of packaging containing certain heavy metal concentrations.
