International environmental policy

Environmental policy does not end at national borders – many challenges can only be addressed internationally. Cooperation is essential to achieve positive change. Therefore, Austria is a member of UNEP, the International Whaling Commission, the OECD, and the UNECE Environmental Committee, among others.
