Federal Waste Management Plan 2023 - Part 2

The Federal Minister is required to draft a Federal Waste Management Plan at least once every six years, to implement the objectives and principles of the Waste Management Act of 2002. After public participation, the Federal Waste Management Plan 2023 was published in three parts.

The Federal Waste Management Plan provides a detailed insight into Austrian waste management (including an inventory of waste streams and waste treatment plants) and derives from this specific measures, strategies and programmes.
